Online Safety Support for Parents/ Carers

The online world is posing an ever increasing risk to children, and it is important that we work together to take an active role in teaching children about online dangers. Learning how to act safely is an incredibly important part of safeguarding our children.

We are delighted to announce that we have shown our commitment to protecting our pupils online by working with the National College to provide resources for our parents and carers via the National Online Safety Centre.

The resources include parents and carers courses (presented by Myleene Klass), online video resources and weekly guides covering a wide range of topics.

To create your account, please click  https://nationalcollege.com/enrol/oaklands-school-1 and complete your details, selecting parent/carer from the ‘job role’ on the drop-down menu.

You can access National Online Safety online via any device or via the official APP which you can download via the App Store or Google Play store. Simply search for ‘National Online Safety.’
